About Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm
“Miskruier” (Afrikaans for Dung Beetle), the name of our working Citrus farm, is a name that was decided upon years ago when the Farm was established.
Mr. HHJ Potgieter had the idea to save this special flightless dung beetle
We have elegant chalets with Lapa overlooking the beautiful Zuurberg Mountains
We are 7 km from the Main Gate of the Addo Elephant National Park
Activities In The Area
Activities in the area cater for both the adventure seeker and relaxer and a complete file of all the activities can be viewed at the reception area.

We have 4 elegant chalets, 3 bush cabins and 4 suites at our Guest Farm. See our accommodation here.
As site facilities, we have a, splash pool, rock pool, bird watching, laundry service upon request and an upper-level lounge that is connected by a sunny open deck. We are also a working citrus farm. See nearby activities here.
Yes, we are a 3-star TGCSA graded guest farm.
Although rain is prevalent in summer, we are indeed a Malaria free area.
Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm is situated 7 km from the Main Gate of the Addo Elephant National Park on a working Citrus Farm.
We do not have a restaurant onsite and we do not serve lunch or dinners at our guest farm. A list of restaurants will be provided upon check in, and we will gladly assist in booking a
table at one of the local restaurants with a map of the area.
