Booking and Cancellation Policy
PLEASES TAKE NOTE:
COVID-19 is a virus that has taken us all by surprise. New protocols had to be developed that are
fitting for the cause. There is no existing blueprint to guide us thus, we must adapt. All our efforts
to comply have meant that a few changes had to be made for the health and safety of you our
guest, their families and that of our staff.
POLICIES for direct bookings
Direct bookings from guest:
Please take note that we need no deposit. We will send you an invoice one (1) week before your arrival
date. Three (3) days before your arrival date, we will require full payment of your confirmed rate for
reservation made and will be non-refundable. Please e-mail us your proof of payment to
email@example.com and use your booking name as reference.
All guest on arrival date and on departure date will be thermo scanned and information recorded as
stipulated via Tourism and Hospitality Covid19 protocol.
IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION, THE FOLLOWING MANAGEMENT POLICY WILL BE
20% administration fee will be charged for all refunds irrespective of reason to cover admin costs.
FREE of charge (less 20%administration fee) cancellation up to 48 hours prior to arrival if one of the
following reasons occur:
• The government in the guests’ country restricts travel
• The government in South Africa restricts incoming travel
• International flights are cancelled and no alternative routings available for guests
to travel in and out of South Africa
• The guest has contracted COVID19 and is receiving treatment or is in quarantine
up to 48 hours prior to their arrival in South Africa. Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm will request
proof of a positive test result.
Standard Terms & Conditions remain in place for cancellations for any other reason. The above specific
terms are only applicable for the duration of a pandemic as declared by the World Health Organisation.
